Like all of our teas, we only source the "Grand Cru" version of First Steps (Huangya) through our exclusive relationships with the most sought after tea farmers in China.

About First Steps

Many Yellow teas tend to be sweet and floral. Not this one. This Yellow tea is roasted (toasty) in addition to tasting slightly sweet. Because of its rich, toasty flavor, it is a great starter tea. A good "first step" into the Yellow tea category, perhaps!
