About Crimson Needle
You won't find Crimson Needle in any other tea shop, because we buy the entire stock every year. Why? It is such a unique tea.
The trees that produce Crimson Needle were lost over one hundred thirty years ago. Peasants planted them in a forest, and when they left the area, the forest grew around the tea trees.
However, a farmer from thirty miles away recently rediscovered the tea trees within the overgrown forest. Although he does not usually make Red tea, he decided to do so to bring out the richest flavors with these old leaves. We liked the tea so much that we decided we would exclusively buy all of his crop every year.
